The Asagaya Jazz Street festival 2010, featured more than 50 "stages" and lives spots spread up and down the main shopping street with make shift stages in front of the main train station, most drinking spots, chicken joints and just about any spot where a musician could set up. This year's Jazz Street had more than 120 "acts" which played from 11am to midnight.

This local festival, first started in the early 90’s, has grown from a New Orleans jazz and brass band festival into one of the most popular of it’s kind in Japan.

Jazz Street is held every October, so mark your calendar and plan on making it next year. See you there.
