RAMBLING STEVE GARDNER- BLUES WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS

RAMBLING STEVE GARDNER
BLUES WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS

Rambling Steve Gardner not only plays blues in Japan, Asia and the USA he also does workshops and seminars on Southern Culture and the Roots Of The Blues. These cultural exchange workshops and seminars have been sponsored by several cultural organisations along with several of Japan's leading educational institutions, Meiji, Meiji Gakuen, Aoyama and Waseda University.
The emphasis of these seminars and workshops is divided well between educational cultural exchange and good music. The goal of each presentation is a good time for everyone who comes out for a show. These blues seminars and workshops are geared for all ages from children, university students and senior adults.

Seminars feature live music, photographs of Mississippi taken by Rambling Steve Gardner, along with a variety of hand made musical interments with historical explanations of the blues and the links from the blues to modern music. There is always abundant audience participation which include clapping, stomping, singing and shouting.
The US Embassy in Japan has also sponsored Rambling Steve Gardner on a multi-city cultural exchange program. Rambling Steve Gardner also represented the United States at the opening of the International exposition held in Japan in 2005.
