RAMBLING STEVE GARDNER-Big Leg Roots & Blues
YOU KNOW, ACOUSTIC STUFF!
Kamakura, Japan October 19, 2011
Rambling Steve Gardner, Bill Benfield and Hisa Nakase played the Hase Temple Fall Music Festival October 2011. This was the fifth year Hase Temple hosted an International music festival on the grounds of the historic temple built more than 600 years ago.
The Hase Temple played host to a varitety of music and musicians from American Roots 'N Blues, bluegrass, country, American pops along with traditional Japanese music old and new.
The weather was cool but the temple grounds were crowded with tourist and locals alike. The main stage over-looked beautiful grounds on one side and the ocean on the other. It was one of the most spectacular venues that we have ever had the opportunity to play; and I might add that the Hase Temple staff, one and all, were attentive and professional from start to finish.
Thanks again one and all.

Below is a photograph taken just after our show at the Hase temple Music Festival. Just a few minutes walk from Hase Temple is the Giant Buddha-DaiButsu- of Kamakura, which was constructed some 800 or 900 years ago.
