No one needs to be told what happened. The death and destruction visited on Haiti by the January 12 earthquake is well known. The question is: What can we do? The answer: Come to the FCCJ's Hope for Haiti night!
Mike Price, Steve Gardner, Andrea Hopkins, Vic Savoy, JJ Vicars, the Moonshots and many other musicians are donating their talents to provide non-stop entertainment while the FCCJ kitchen lays out an all-you-can-eat buffet featuring Haitian cuisine. Hotels, wine distributors and other businesses are donating prizes for a raffle. Jean-Claude Bordes, Acting-Ambassador of the Republic of Haiti, will
make a few comments on the current situation in his country.
IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND THIS CHARITY EVENT FOR THE EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS IN HAITI, PLEASE CALL THE FCCJ TO MAKE RESERVATIONS! (3211-3161)
Tickets, covering the buffet and one drink, are 5,000 yen. Please reserve in advance (3211-3161) so that we make the appropriate preparations.
